Neil Baker is the farm manager at Bakers of Haselbury Plucknett near Crewkerne in Somerset. Neil is a fourth generation farmer and has overseen his pedigree Holstein Friesian herd grow to 1,800. Paramount to his management of the herd is attention to detail and an unwavering focus on herd health and welfare.
Neil is a previous winner of the Farmer’s Weekly Dairy Farmer of the Year award, and in 2015 received both the Food & Farming Industry Farm Business of the Year award and the winner of the NMR/RABDF Gold Cup.
