David is managing director of Paragon Veterinary Group, with his main clinical interest in dairy practice, gaining his Diploma in Bovine Reproduction in 1998, and becoming an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Cattle Health and Production in 2003. He has recently completed a DVetMed (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) at Nottingham University, based on cattle OPU/IVF and the effects of minerals on cattle fertility.
He is managing Director of Activf-ET, an advanced breeding company specialising in bovine IVP. He was also highly involved with the establishment of XLVets, a novel company composed of 53 independent veterinary practices around the country who are committed to the future of British agriculture and who are working together to deliver “Excellence in Practice”.
Most recently he has been appointed as Executve Chairmain of an exciting new business called VetSalus which seeks to establish a global veterinary network of production animal vets
He represents the UK on the committee of the World Buiatrics Association, and is an Independent Non Executive Veterinary Director of the Veterinary Defence Society.
