Dave Roberts a Nuffield Scholar and past President of British Grassland Society. He is Professor of Dairy Farming Systems at SRUC (Scotland’s Rural College).  Dave graduated from Reading University with a degree in Agriculture and gained his PhD at Wye College (University of London) in 1979.  He was Head of SRUC Dairy Research Centre, Crichton Royal Farm, until 2016 and is now Knowledge Exchange Director at SRUC.  His research has primarily focused on the development of forage based dairy farming systems.
