Sarah Tomlinson BVM&S MRCVS

Sarah graduated from Edinburgh in 2001 and has been in farm only practice in Derbyshire since 2007. Sarah is still a practicing vet and has hands on experience of day-to-day routine dairy work including fertility, calf health and health planning. As technical director for the TB Advisory Service Sarah strives to encourage farmers (and vets) to see TB as an infectious disease which we can have some control over. Since 2016 she has been a member of the TB Eradication and Advisory Group for England and is now sits on the new TB Partnership, a stakeholder group providing advice and evidence for the TB team in Defra. 

In 2019 she became a board member of the British Cattle Veterinary Association.

More recently Sarah was invited to become a trustee of the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers (RABDF) and has become a board member of the National Beef Association (NBA). She is also an active member of the National Farmers Union (NFU) locally and nationally and is keen to support the farming industry in all these roles.  

She is the Dairy Industry Cream Awards Dairy Vet of the year 2020.
